2 charged in London with giving Amy Winehouse drugs

LONDON —

Police have charged a man and a woman in London with supplying drugs to Amy Winehouse.

The charges stem from a video that appeared to show the singer smoking crack cocaine.

London police say John Blagrove and Cara Burton have been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and MDMA, also known as ecstasy.

The suspects were released on bail Thursday until their next court appearance on July 1.

Police began an investigation after photos from the footage were published in The Sun newspaper in January. Detectives say Winehouse will not be charged in the case.

The singer has seen her rise to fame overshadowed by media attention to her turbulent private life. She is best known for her breakthrough hit "Rehab."

Ford is in Cannes to promote the eagerly anticipated Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which has been given mixed reviews.

Protégés of the Insane Clown Posse, the Detroit-area Caucasian blame brace Twiztid based their play on a likewise theatrical, unconscionable, makeup-heavy icon and an obsession with serial murderer horror films. Jamie Madrox and the Monoxide Child project themselves as psychotic person axe murderers on their 1998 debut album, Mostasteless, which was reissued with newfangled nontextual matter and extra tracks a year subsequently in the wake of ICP's rise to national ill fame. Twiztid's arcsecond album, Freek Show, was released on Halloween 2000 in conjunction with ICP's Bizzar/Bizaar sets; Mirror Mirror followed two days later. The Green Book hit the shelves in 2003, with Man's Myth, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 both landing in 2005. The 2007 album Independent's Day featured numerous invitee stars, including DJ Quik and tha Dogg Pound on with D12 members Bizarre and Proof. The duette toured extensively end-to-end the States in the early 2000s, development a small cult following end-to-end the Midwest in particular.

Robbie Williams - Williams Splits With Girlfriend

British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS has split with his actress girlfriend AYDA FIELD, according to reports.

The former Take That singer met the U.S. TV star in Los Angeles, where he has been living for the last few years.

They have officially been dating since January (08), but are believed to have been a couple since autumn 2007.

But the couple has now split according to London newspaper The Evening Standard.

A source tells the publication, "Ayda was attracted to Rob as he is vastly different to the average L.A. guy she is accustomed to, but in the end this was exactly what ended their relationship; he's too different.

"He gave their relationship a serious go, but it was really the fact they weren't on the same page in terms of where their lives are going.

"Golfing, hiking and a craving for privacy aren't what an aspiring 28-year-old actress wants or needs."

The Sopranos - Tony Sopranos Clothes Auctioned For 187750

Tony Soprano's clothes have fetched $187,750 (£95,464) at a charity auction at Christie's in New York.

The bloodied outfit worn by the fictional mob-boss in the long-running US series The Sopranos when he was shot by Uncle Junior was the top lot, selling for $43,750 (£22,245).

The white tank top, beige and black short-sleeved shirt and black trousers raised 15 times more than Christie's had estimated for charity Wounded Warrior, which helps wounded US troops.

Actor James Gandolfini, who played Tony Soprano in the hit show, was at the auction along with a soldier from Wounded Warrior.

Altogether, 25 lots were sold, making five times their estimate.

Top sellers were a striped short robe, which fetched $21,250 (£10,805), another robe with an S insignia on the breast pocket, which went for $13,750 (£6,991) and a blue shirt worn by Tony in the opening credits which went for the same amount.

The Sopranos aired for six seasons and ended in June 2007.

Formed in Adelaide, Australia, in the early '90s, Virgin Black's lineup features Rowan London (vocals, pianissimo, keyboards), Samantha Escarbe (track guitar), Craig Edis (rhythm method of birth control guitar), Ian Miller (bass), and Dino Cielo (drums). After a series of demo recordings in 1995/1996, the chemical group began gaining international realisation with 1998's Trance EP, eventually signing with the End Records a year later on. Boasting a complex, cinematic well-grounded, both gothic and metallic in nature, their debut album Sombre Romantic followed in 2000 and saw their cORE lineup augmented by choirs and string sections in the studio, the better to aggrandise their hoity-toity mood metallic element.
